03

SMS Implementation & Compliance Management

Safety Management Systems · ISM Code

Bespoke SMS drafting, annual internal audits, emergency preparedness and ongoing compliance administration for private and commercial yacht operations.

  • Internal audits
  • Certificate monitoring
04

Maritime Risk & Insurance Advisory

Trusted Underwriters · P&I · Hull & Machinery

Insurance is where compliance becomes financial protection. Underwriters price risk directly from your survey record, SMS discipline and flag standing. We prepare the vessel's compliance profile and arrange quotations through long-standing partners: well-known international insurers.

  • One-off consultation fee
  • Quotes via known insurers
  • Compliance-driven premiums
05

Sales & Purchase Consultancy

Pre-Purchase · Due Diligence · Closing

Buying or selling a yacht is a compliance event as much as a commercial one. We run pre-purchase compliance audits, document and certificate due diligence and condition survey coordination, then guide flag and class decisions before closing.

  • Yacht Sales & Purchase
  • Pre-purchase audits
  • Document due diligence

Before You Ask

Questions, answered plainly.

Straightforward answers to the questions owners, captains and family offices ask us most. Anything else, ask the AI concierge or write to us in confidence below.

Which flag registries and class societies do you work with?

We regularly coordinate with the Cayman Islands, Marshall Islands, Malta and the wider Red Ensign group, and with the major classification societies Lloyd's Register, DNV, ABS and RINA. If your vessel sits elsewhere, we adapt quickly to its administration.

What does the one-hour advisory consultation include?

A structured, confidential session at €80 per hour. We review your certificate register, flag and class position, upcoming survey windows and Port State Control exposure, and you leave with a clear, prioritized list of actions and realistic timelines.

When does a yacht need a Safety Management System?

The ISM Code is mandatory for commercially registered and charter yachts of 500 gross tonnage and above. Many private yachts from 24 metres upward adopt a scaled system voluntarily, for safer operation, smoother insurance placement and inspection readiness.

How does an engagement begin?

With a complimentary fifteen-minute introduction. From there depending on your needs you may book a paid advisory session, where the scoped project such as a reflagging or audit preparation can be discussed and decided with which route you prefer to work together, which is hourly based consultation, project based or management based.

Will my information remain confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is the foundation of the practice: case work is only ever shared anonymized, non-disclosure agreements are available on request, and all engagements are subject to know-your-client and anti-money-laundering screening.

Confidential Inquiry

Begin with a qualified conversation.

Three short steps. Sensitive, urgent and cross-border matters are prioritised, a principal responds within one business day, sooner for PSC incidents and imminent surveys.
